POUND HILL, WORTH AND MAIDENBOWER CONSERVATIVES
invite you to join us on a wine tasting adventure to
The Tesco Wine Fair, London
on Sunday 30 October 2016
at Olympia, from 12:00 noon to 16:00pm
(To meet at Three Bridges station, train ticket price included, time
to be advised *)
This is a chance to sample from approximately 300 different wines, many of which are not
available in the stores and only through their dot.com site. These are arranged in about 40 - 50
stands, each vineyard or supplier having their own stand with 4 to 6 different wines to sample.
You get a show guide and a glass on entry, which you may keep.
There will also be workshops and you may attend one of these, such as "Lights of Spain", "Old
World v New World" where a Tesco buyer will explain maybe 5 wines that you sample. In 2015
there were 23 workshops to choose from.
You may purchase some of the wines from Tesco (minimum half case per wine) at a discounted
price either there or at home for the next 24 hours usually. Please note though there is no
pressure to buy anything.
* Please note that as the workshops are "first come, first served" and tickets for these are only
available when in the venue, the meet time is a strict one unfortunately. This is likely to be about
9:45am.
Tickets: £25 each, to include train to Olympia via Clapham
Limited number of tickets available so to secure your place please send cheque
