Henry Smith MP dressed up as Father Christmas on Friday, 12th December, in support of Chestnut Tree House on Wear a Santa Suit Day.
Henry said;
“I was pleased to be supporting Chestnut Tree House in a way that will raise awareness of the only children’s hospice in all of Sussex.
“It is a pleasure to be supporting Chestnut once again. A few years ago, I took part in two of their Santas on the Run events around Crawley, and I was even joined by my nine year old daughter one year!”
Henry has also set up a JustGiving page to raise funds for the hospice. The page has already reached its target, and donations to Chestnut Tree house can be made at www.justgiving.com/HenrySantaSuit
Earlier this year, Henry was photographed in Westminster Hall in his Santa suit, in support of Chestnut and the work they do.
“I received more than my fair share of strange looks when walking around Parliament in my Santa Suit! But it was certainly worth it to raise awareness for the only children’s hospice in Sussex.”
