Henry Smith MP has thanked everyone who attended his Crawley Jobs Fair last week, and all those who made the event happen.
Henry said;
“It was a pleasure to hold the Crawley Jobs Fair last week. An estimated 700 people came down, and I hope the event was able to provide some assistance.
“Having been unemployed myself, I know how much of a struggle it is when looking for work. As the local MP, one of my key responsibilities is to listen to the concerns of people in this position, and to have their concerns very much in mind when I speak to the Prime Minister and Secretaries of State on a whole range of issues.
“I want to thank everyone who helped with the organising of the Jobs Fair, and all the exhibitors and stall-holders.
“I also want to say thank you to the event sponsors; Elekta, CGG, RH Uncovered Magazine, Rewards Training Recruitment Consultancy, GatwickDiamondJobs.com, and Transvalair UK.”
The Royal Voluntary Service commented:
“The jobs fair was a great opportunity for us to meet many willing volunteers for our service.”
The Rivers Learning Project (UK) added;
“Many thanks to Henry Smith for allowing us to be part of the fair. It has allowed us to publicise what we do and given us invaluable contacts.”
Henry continued;
“Of course, I know that in spite of Crawley unemployment falling to 1.8%, not having a job is 100% of a problem if you’re in that position.
“If there is anything I can assist with, please get in touch with my by either writing to me at Henry Smith MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA, by emailing me directly at [email protected], or by stopping me and saying hello when I’m out and about.”
