Henry Smith MP has today hailed Crawley Town Football Club as the first organisation in the town to officially sign up to Tickets for Troops.
Henry said;
“I am delighted that Crawley Town have officially signed up to the Tickets for Troops scheme. This means that members of our Armed Forces can go to the Tickets for Troops website, and get free tickets for Crawley Town’s future home league games.
“I approached the Club about joining the scheme last month, and am thrilled that CTFC, on behalf of our community, are saying thank you to our Armed Forces by their offer of free tickets to those who risk their lives to ensure our freedoms are protected.
“Throughout, everyone I have spoken to at the Club has been eager to engage with this initiative, and it is to their credit that they are making this gesture.
“I also want to thank the staff at Tickets for Troops, their continued work for those in our Armed Forces is an ongoing inspiration to us all.”
Tickets for Troops provide free tickets to members of the Armed Forces for a variety of sporting, musical and cultural events. The scheme offers serving personnel, and those medically discharged from the forces since 2001, the well-deserved opportunity to enjoy an event of their choice with their friends and families.
Members of the Armed Forces can book free tickets to Crawley Town home games in League One, starting with the match against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 1st November, by visiting the Tickets for Troops website.
